Graff Diamonds has unveiled the $55 million Hallucination timepiece at Baselworld, which uses a kaleidoscope of over 100 carats of rare multi-coloured diamonds to create the most expensive watch ever.

This is the first ever participation of Graff Diamonds to the important watch fair which opened Wednesday and will run until April 3.

The concept for the dazzling timepiece came from Laurence Graff, Chairman of Graff Diamonds, with thousands of hours of craftsmanship needed to realize the piece. Graff called the timepiece “a celebration of the miracle of coloured diamonds.”
