The 2ed Guangzhou International Photography Biennale will be open on May 18, 2007.The curators of this biennale are well-known photography critics Si Sushi, Hong Kong photography scholar Feng Hanji, the curator of Guangdong Art Museum Cai Tao and Alain SAYAG, the former director of Photography Department in Centre Georges Pompidou. The domestic part of this biennale includes nine parts, covering the artworks of the representative time in the Chinese photography history. The opening reception of this biennale will also hold a forum focus on the research about the local contemporary photography history.
