art work Set Two: The set borrows a soldier figure from Chinese Qin Dynasty and reassembles them again. Head, hand or leg is moved from the original places, reallocated to another part of the body. It alludes to different points of view on the history.
art work Set Three: Buddhist sculpture is another important theme in Daniel's works. The bronze Buddhist with shape lines has set aside a part of its body like lung, heart or leg. But this kind of traditional Chinese sculpture is of affinity with western modern sculpture style – lines with western style at the back.
