Yan Club Arts Center will hold a very important exhibition this August at the Yan Club. There is a showing, in collaboration with prestigious Galerie Maeght from Paris, Italian artist Marco Del Re works on paper.The exhibition will take place from August 25 to September 24. Yan Club Arts Center will have an opening reception for the artist, who is coming to Beijing specially for this event, on Saturday, 25 August, from 4 to 7pm. and will be serving Italian wine and food, and we will have a musician playing classical cello during the event. Marco Del Re works are influenced by Braque and Matisse and the French tradition. He has developed a very interesting technique working with ink and huge pieces of Nepalese paper. Our gallery will be going through major renovations this summer and we will create space to show an impressive piece by Marco Del Re, created in collaboration with Turkish artist Selma Gurbuz, measuring 3 by 8 meters!
