Capital Museum and An Hui Province Museum hold Painting Exhibition of Pan Yuliang on 16th,Aug at Capital Museum. The largest scale exhibition of Pan Yuliang's paintings selected 200 top-quality artistic works from 4700 paintings by An Hui Province Museum.Legendary female painter Pan Yuliang (1895-1977) is considered one of China's greatest female painters, one of the first to use the lines of ink painting in Western-style compositions.Huang Xiuying, vice curator of An Hui Province Museum, introduced that 200 top-quality artistic works were her creation in different period from studying at Shanghai Art College and studying abroad at Europe to coming homeland, including oil paintings, color ink paintings, printings, line drawings and photos. Audiences will known her whole rough life and paintings with epoch features from words, photos and art works in the exhibition.The exhibition divided three parts: Pan Yuliang's art works, restoration and protection to Pan Yuliang's oil painting, and art feast of Pan Yuliang’s painting.The first part--Pan Yuliang's art works is the most important part of the exhibition, and show different styles and subjects paintings in her whole life. The important representative work is “portrait” in 1940 by Pan Yuliang.The second part-- restoration and protection to Pan Yuliang's oil painting show some art works that were destroyed and restored ,and give a foundation to Chinese modern paintings research.The third part-- art feast of Pan Yuliang's painting show Taiwan original culture works. Designing and decorating works represent the corporation between fine art and daily use on the basis of Pan Yuliang’s art works.
