In Zhong Zhao’s art works, we can find a contact between his works and nature, which is a kind of artistic conception that comes from nature while being different from nature itself. His works portray vivid landscapes and merge with abstract in an implicit, pure, agile way. Meanwhile, these works have the rich flavor of cosmos and tension as well as intelligence that we can feel. Zhong Zhao’s creative process is observing the outer world and experiencing his inner world in a unique and individual way to find “the real actual essence under the surface” and to look for “the true meaning of a chaos world, to truly realize the world and endow it with a feeling of order”, as an American critic Bobnis said. In the feeling of order created by Zhong Zhao, we can feel his collocation of the vastness of nature as well as his innermost thoughts and feelings.Zhong Zhao’s works of art use a variety of media and materials: wood block, iron sheet or even ready-made traditional Chinese door plank. He attempts to create a space in his painting with different materials which help him to display his high esteem and interest in nature.He is an attentive young man and an artist who is able to concentrate on the creation of art without being lured by the temptations of the external world. He has been living alone in the village for years.
