China and Russia have a deep-rooted friendship. Russia has a long history of influence on Chinese culture. For historical reasons, however, the artistic interchange between the two countries has fallen by the wayside and Russian contemporary art is not familiar to Chinese. In this exhibition viewers can appreciate contemporary Russian art and trace its contemporary achievements in oil painting. The exhibition opens on 20th,Sept-10th,Oct,2007 at Junhan Gallery.
