The main topic of the exhibition shows important roles of two art academies in new China art development by 50 years history tract and splendid achievement of Beijing Art Academy and Shanghai Art Academy.Beijing Art Academy and Shanghai Art Academy are the earliest and largest scale art academies in new China. They were set up on 1956, Art academy become most important part of China contemporary art system with 50 years development under kind solicitude from CPC and government.The exhibition shows not only many art works, but also some history pictures. Visitors will appreciate charming of artworks and social responsibility and strong creation passion of artists in the special history background.The exhibition opens on 26th,Oct at National Art Museum of China with over 620 art works, including six parts: 50 years special exhibition, Qi Baishi and Lin Fengmian special exhibition, famous artists’ works exhibition, 1950s-1970s art works exhibition, print art works special exhibition and new epoch art works special exhibition. The art works include some great masters and contemporary famous artists.
