This exhibition was first held in the Keumsan Gallery of Korea, then it comes to China, so it can be said to be an itinerant exhibition. This exhibition, planned by Mr. Feng Boyi, attempts to show another aspect of Chinese contemporary arts. It is looking for new ways of “Art for Art” escaping from previous simple and parochial set pattern of “Art for Living”. This exhibition encompasses many different art forms like photography, video, oil painting, sculpture and traditional Chinese painting. It tries to show in as many aspects as possible the effort of young artists in seeking for new artistic language and “Art for Art”.In these works of art, we can find a kind of uncertainty which comes both from the pursuit of the ideal of art in the heart and from the reflections of times on themselves. We may call this kind of feeling “seduction” or “confusion”, but this “confusion” has its true sides, reflecting uncertainty as well as the true experience of artistic pursuit of young artists in contemporary arts. The exhibition holds on Nov .10. — Dec. 9. 2007. at Beijing Keumsan Gallery
