This exhibition focuses on the China Independent Fine Arts Association, an important avant-garde art association in the 1930s. The association was founded in Tokyo in 1935 and organized a series of activities in Tokyo, Guangzhou and Shanghai. They boasted Super-realism and Fauvism and tried to extend their influence. However, the association had only existed for one year.This exhibition will trace the footprints of these young artists and rebuild the art atmosphere of that era with the historic papers and works of the writers.The exhibition opnes on Nov 18th, 2007- Jan,6th,2008 at Guangdong Museum of Art.
