China's Miao Minority Costume Shown at SCAU

Silver crown, silver necklace, silver cape and exquisite embroidery with silver bells...in Guangzhou you have the chance to appreciate the female costumes of China's Miao Minority who reside in Western Hunan Province. A selection of the exhibits from China's Miao Minority Museum is being displayed at the Guangzhou's South China Agricultural University (SCAU). The 80 pieces were mainly manufactured dozens or even hundreds of years ago and represent the distinct and high level of Miao Minority art treasures The exhibition is free of charge and opens on 2007-11-28~2008-01-15 at School of Fine Arts, South China Agricultural University.
