9 Artists Exhibition of Modern Oil Painters was held successfully in National Art Museum in 1998. After 9 years, 8 of the 9 Artists – Wang Kun, Qi Haiping, Deng Guoyuan, Liu Jianping, Zhang Dongfeng, Sun Gang, Ren Chuanwen and Li Jiangfeng, as well as Bai Yuping with the same art language, displayed more than 70 excellent works in the 9 years, to show the detail of the road of “Expressing and Writing”. It used “Expressing and Writing” as a title, to find out their common property in their art language. They created a new method of west media from Chinese traditional aesthetics. It is not expressing a substance, but a human symbol filtered by the exquisite heart of the artists. It broke out the frame of the appearance of the subject and the fixed skill, by expressing and writing.
