360 Artifacts of Liwan District Archive Presented for Free

The annual Liwan Archive Exhibit kicked off on the morning of December 10th. Over 360 artifacts were exhibited for free, attracting the unceasing arrival of citizens.The figurine of Quyue Mountain proved an instant hit. The 23cm-long and 11cm-wide elephant teeth-made tablet is home to vivid objects ranging from a big swan-styled restaurant, and southern mansion to small cars and cotton flowers. More intriguingly, the left hand of the tablet is inscribed with an entire poem by Qin Yunchun. The over one hundred words were packed into a small section. The strokes were small like an ant's feet but the words were tidy and beautiful. Apart from the inclusive figurine, a huge and grand scroll, 30-meters long and 1.2-meters wide scroll named Xiguan Fenghua also came to the show. It has been renowned as the most successful scroll with a city as the background. The picture features the Pearl River as the main line with over 40 other Liwan-represented spots ranging from The free exhibit is held in No. 1 Exhibition Room of Cultural Park and will be open to the public until December 15th.
