In modern China Painting Circles, to trace the source and pursue the creation from the ancient, follower-and-bird painters searched in the Ming and Qing Dynasty, and the figure painters searched in the Tang Dynasty. But Wang Kuohai made a great innovation in the Han Paintings. Wang Kuohai blending both of the above, with the excellence of the folk arts such as Paper-cuts, shadow plays, tang tricolors, clay sculptures and murals. He formed a special Chinese Ink-wash painting style, and which is called as “the New Han Dynasty Painting Art of Wang Kuohai”. In the Exhibition of New Han Dynasty Ink-wash Painting by Wang Kuohai, we can feel how the works break out the shackle of the charcoal drawing, and enhance the langue of the Chinese ink-wash paintings. The works are on the basic of Sinology, with the Han art style, and showed the creation from it. It enhanced the traditional styles such as the leaking trace of house, and the no-bone style.
