Over a very long period of time, new changes have taken place in Chang Chih-cheng’s works. It was injected cultural factors and expression of humanity, especially the means of expression of giving prominence to character since the birth of the impressionism. The most prominent in Chang Chih-cheng’s new works is figure, which are well-known stars, artists and models in magazines. These people imitated and admired by the public are give new interpretation.Chang Chih-cheng is in the efforts to find his own color, which is quite different from the natural color in the pursuit of lens. The expression force of minimal art is incomparable by hard edge painting.In order to accurately express the feelings of loneliness, monochrome colors are usually used in the works and emotion factors of visual objects are made the most basic expression concept while image approach (vision, hearing) to express material abundance are made elements of the concept. In expression process of monochrome, artists attach thick material paint like walls to lifelike space to form an effect similar to murals.
