The exhibition will feature the best deigns of Germany's books. It consists of two parts. The first part is Germany's Most Beautiful Books, featuring the winning works of Germany's Most Beautiful Books Award between 2006 and 2007. The Award is the highest honorary event of Germany's state-level book design. Its criteria focus on the coordination between content and form through the expression of visual and tactile beauty. The second part is Germany's Best Unpublished Books Design: Exhibition of Books with the Best Design and Concept from Higher Institutions of Austria and Switzerland. Contestants of the second Germany's Best Unpublished Book Design Works are all young designers who graduated from school not more than two years ago. Their works are judged mainly on creativity and reasonable plan, and the compatibility between concept and form and the ultimate enforcement of aesthetics. The exhibition opens at Guangdong Museum of Art, Hall 9 at 2008-04-04~2008-04-13.
