Chinese artworks autumn sale will be held in Sotheby’s NY and Christie's NY, by then, artworks autumn sale begins.

Sotheby’s NY and christie's NY hold 2 Asian art sales respectively. The former is sale for Chinese ceramics and Asian Contemporary art and the latte is for Chinese snuff and Chinese ceramics.

Two companies in Guangzhou set the schedule down

Sotheby’s HK will hold totally 13 sales in the early of October, including the Asian Contemporary and modern art evening sale., Chinese art in 20century, Chinese contemporary art , Southeast modern art, Chinese paintings, watches, Jewelry and jade, Chinese ceramics,etc. And christie's HK will hold 10 sales on November 11th, composed of sherry sale, southeast art, Asian contemporary art(evening sale), Chinese art in 20 century(evening sale), Chinese ancient paintings, jewelry, Chinese ancient special sale, Chinese ceramics, etc.

In these feast sales, the most remarkable works is “lotus picking” by Qiu Ying，estimated at 12-15 Million HK dollars。Another spectacular works is a butterfly vase with pink grounding in Qianlong period collected by Alfred Morris, a famous collector of Chinese artworks. Besides, “two gledes” by Cai Guoqiang, “Andy Warhol comes to China all the way” by Zeng Fanzhi, “Spanish ancient coty” by Liao Jichun, “Chinese images” by Feng Zhengjie focus the public attention in the sals.

The market quotation of Sotheby’s HK and christie's HK exert important influence to mainland which is not only the vane to mainland collection ,but the market lever to art market. Recently, several auction companies in mainland haven’t issue the autumn sales date yet. Guardian Guangzhou has set the autumn sale on December 6th in Oriental Hotel, while YIngtong Guangzhou on November 9th in Garden restaurant.
