As excavations of the present day recover e past, many Chinese traditions endure and adapt to the changing times. A solo exhibition of traditional Chinese painting by Huang Xiangling is now open in Macao Special Administrative Region. Huang's ink and wash creations are winning unanimous praise from critics, scholars and art lovers.

All 60 works showcased, are executed by Huang. Her works of traditional Chinese painting are renowned. Most are landscapes inspired by China's natural scenery. Huang has been a student of traditional Chinese painting since childhood. She inherited the artistic approaches of her father Huang Jiubi, a revolutionary painter of the genre. Ink and wash painting was favored among Chinese literati. The ancient Chinese art form is still in favor among many of the country's contemporary artists.
