Recently, there are still a number of Shanghai artists who paint original ecology on their canvas, trying to brush their understanding of the urban ecology into spiritual products. Those incarnations of their spirit are not free from the noise of the city, but rather recorded inadvertently. They are also various perspectives on the interpretation of the understanding of the urban life. As a result, they still preserve the ideology---true peacefulness.

While the artists paint with a common concept, we need to have an in-depth reading of their individual unique aesthetic orientations to get a better understanding.

Mr. Liu Qiyi always examines the rapid changing of the city with a subtle vision. His strong realist painting language shows his aesthetic view and his understanding of Art.

Sunny Lin, the Artist, thinks that our era is full of information; occasionally people choose the non-moral dimension of "deviation" including their behaviors.

Mr. Wang Qifeng regards painting as a microscope that magnifies urban dwellers’private and unique life.

Mr. Wang Hongwei expresses a city dweller’s complex emotions through dreams and memories of his urban and rural life.

He wei，as an artist, gropes his way to express his individuation pictorial feature.

Miss. Xu Hui-an elegant young woman artist, whose works tell people about her usually thinking, is the only female artist in this show.

Watching their paintings, we seem to breathe a rich flavor of the original ecology from the sub-urban area.
