Teachers from the Art History Faculty at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts will hold an exhibition to show their new works to the public.

As theorists of art history, the role of teachers is to help students learn how to interpret art and weigh its significance historically. Now they are taking the opportunity to express how they feel about life and art through their own creations.

Art history, as a humanities subject, requires instructors with relevant theoretical knowledge and experience in art appreciation. Therefore, teachers can apply their experience in interpretation and historical analysis to their own aesthetic creations, while hopefully retaining the spirit of creative freedom and independence.

The works on display will include oil paintings, watercolors, sculpture and so on.
