Zhao Li Displays Abstract Works in Beijing

Recently, painter Zhao Li displayed eighty of her latest abstract paintings at the CPPCC Hall in Beijing. The works in the show are a marked departure from the artist's previous style.
For decades, Zhao Li has been working hard to master the fine art techniques of both the traditional Chinese school and the western style. Seeking a fusion between western classics and Chinese calligraphy, Zhao Li has achieved a new style of fine arts, which blends grace, passion, rationality, and innocence.
In Zhao Li's works, there are neither the noise of conceptualism or the posturing of post modernism. What meets the spectators' eyes is nothing but an impression of overwhelming joyfulness. The works on display have won high praises among art critics from home and abroad.
This December, the show will travel to the Macao Special Administrative Region.
