Chinese Contemporary Ink Painting Exhibition Opens in Budapest

Ink-not-ink: Chinese contemporary ink painting exhibition, co-organized by China Ministry of Culture and Hungary Ministry of Education and Culture, raised the curtain on Oct.12 in Budapest. On the exhibition presents more than 60 pieces of art works from 38 Chinese contemporary artists.
Wang Wenzhang, undersecretary of China Ministry of Culture said on the opening ceremony that, though there are difference in cultural background and conception between China and Hungary, the pursuit to excellent art of the people in two countries is coincident. It is an economic integration era now and the culture ought to keep diversified. He hopes China and Hungary strengthen further culture and art exchange and he believes the culture of two countries will bear more fruits through their common effort.
Chinese Contemporary Ink Painting Exhibition is one of the activities on Chinese culture festival, held in honor of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Hungary and China. The exhibition will end on Oct.25. Subsequently, it will be displayed in Rumania and Croatia.
