British Museum Will Aid China to Search Chinese National Treasures in British

China announces recently that Yuan Ming Yuan will search the treasures looted by British and French ally in 1860 overseas. Although having not received the application from China, British Museum expresses they are welcome to Chinese experts to visit British Museum and they are willing to give support to the research.
The British Museum is one of the largest museums in the world, which boasts a large number of Chinese treasures. The spokesman in British Museum told the media that, they have not received the visit application from China, but they are glad to discuss the relevant issues with Chinese experts and provide assistance.
A detailed list will be made and a group of experts will go abroad to search the burnt and looted treasures in 1860, Chen Mingjie, director of Yuan Ming Yuan Administration Dept. said. And visits to the oversea museums are to establish a complete treasure list, not to retake the treasures.
