Falling in love with ordinary people - the exhibition of Zhou sicong’s creation and sketches, was planed and organized by Beijing art academy, and will be held in the art gallery of Beijing Art Academy in the 25th of this November. This is not only the last topic of 2009’s series of exhibitions of China’s art masters in twenty century, but also one of the main events for the 70 years Memorial of Zhou sicong’s birth. The exhibits include 12 pieces of Zhou’s typical works in 1960s and 1070s, and 66 pieces of rough and quick sketches. The exhibition displays the works with their rough sketches, which is valuable in both arts and academy way. At the same, the portfolio of Zhou sicong’s creation and sketches will be published by Beijing Art Academy, and the workshop will be held as well.

Zhou used to work at Beijing Art Academy, where he left a batch of works and literature. Beijing Art academy organized a professional team to study and sort Zhou’s arts resource, and complied a publication synchronously. Zhou’s later generation contribute a lot by providing may rough sketches and multimedia data, collector Li zhiyuan offered a collection of Zhou’s works. This exhibition could never be this featured without these help. Among all the exhibits, 66 pieces of rough and quick sketches appear for the first time, which display the procedure of Zhou’s creative painting, and make this exhibition a vivid textbook for the realism creation.
