In the Chinese painting of the late 20th century, the couple of Lu Chen and Zhou Sicong as the distinguished portrait masters had a profound influence on the China modern fine art history and education.

They opened up a new territory while inheriting the tradition; and are respected by other painters for their personality of humility and being indifferent to fame and fortune, and many important portrait painters in today had got their help and guidance.

As the first major joint exhibition for the two artists, the memorial exhibition of the "Meditation" will display their process of exploration and change of styles in various periods, and their simple, straightforward, tranquil and broad artistic style.
