Michaans’ Auctions will be holding a special Summer Sale in its gallery in Alameda, California on June 7th, Monday. The sale comprises of 358 lots of Asian Works of Art, Western Fine Arts, Furniture, and Decorative Arts among which 120 are Asian Works of Art.
The majority of property in the Asian Works of Art section are Chinese Works of Art, including jade and hardstone carvings, snuff bottles, porcelains, ivory carvings, scholar’s objects, metalwork, and Chinese paintings. Also included is a small portion fine Japanese Works of Art in the sale. Michaans hope the diversified materials will provide the customers a glimpse of their relatively young but definitely growing company.
