JADEITE
This Autumn’s jadeite collection is highlighted by a very rare Jadeite Plaque and Diamond Necklace (Est. HK$7.5-8.5 million / US$950,000–1.1 million). The jadeite plaque is set in a diamond-set open-back pendant loop to emphasise its alluring emerald green colour and translucency, a rare quality in a jadeite piece of this size.
Also among the jadeite highlights are a charming pair of Jadeite Cabochon, Diamond and Burmese Ruby Earrings (Est. HK$6.8-7.8 million / US$870,000-1 million). Highly luminous with an intense and saturated green colour, each jadeite cabochon is accompanied by a diamond and an unheated Burmese ruby of “pigeon’s blood” colour, creating a striking and delightful colour contrast.
Another spectacular jadeite piece is a highly translucent Jadeite Bangle (Est. HK$5.8–6.8 million / US$750,000–870,000). Of an elegant pale green colour, this remarkable jadeite bangle is naturally adorned by a patch of vivid emerald green, creating an arresting colour contrast. As sizeable boulders of good quality become increasingly rare, jadeite bangles like the present one, which are created from boulders of considerable volume and quality are highly sought after by jadeite collectors.
