Worldwide artists compete in sand sculpture festival in E China

Dutch artist Marjon Katerberg carves on a sand sculpture in Zhoushan, east China's Zhejiang Province, on Sept. 24, 2010. More than 30 artists from home and abroad exhibit their talents, on the theme of a trip to Africa, during a sand sculpture festival here from the 12th to 29th of September, 2010. A 20.91-meter tall sculpture, featuring a Nigerian tale on how a hummingbird become the king of all animals, was competing for the title of World's tallest sand sculpture.
