　　smiling country.
　　The first present
　　we give you
　　is a smile.
　　No matter
　　what you ask me,
　　I will answer
　　with a smile,
　　because a smile
　　needs no translation.
　　A smile is a type of rain,
　　a silent rain,
　　a rain that will grow willow trees
　　in your heart.
　　A smile is a type of wind,
　　a colorful wind.
　　It will melt into buds
　　in front of you.
　　A smile is a line of poetry,
　　a sweet spring,
　　running in the desert. 
　　A smile is a painting,
　　a beautiful mountain
　　in the distance.
　　A smile is a Mid-Autumn laurel,
　　a sweet scented lotus.
　　A smile is a spring river,
　　and pieces of sails floating away.
　　A smile is that white cloud,
　　by your window.
　　A smile is that swallow
　　under your roof.
　　A smile is a sound
　　of distant camel bells.
　　A smile is a tree
　　full of green fruits.
　　A smile is a wide-opened
　　bright blue space
　　waiting for the pigeons
　　to fly by.
　　We are one
　　smiling country.

　　welcome our embraces.
　　Although we have
　　ancient culture
　　and vast territory,
　　although we have
　　swords in our hands
　　and arrows with sharp heads,
　　but smiles are our
　　biggest, biggest fortune.
　　The Great Wall proves
　　we are a defensive nation.
　　Smiles are our passages
　　leading us to the world.
　　We open the door
　　with a smile.
　　We welcome you.
　　We welcome the whole world.
　　Once you come here,

　　only our delicious Mao Tai wine,
　　will make you drunk
　　for a thousand years.
