Public Art Fund has announced that Jonathan Sobel has joined its board of directors. Sobel is the managing member of DTF Holdings, an affiliate of investor Gerald Ford. Prior to forming DTF Holdings in 2009, he was a partner managing director at Goldman Sachs from 1998 to 2008.

“Jon Sobel’s commitment to art and the urban environment as well as his wide ranging experience make him an extraordinary addition to our board. At a time of renewal and growth, we’re thrilled to have his participation,” said Nicholas Baume, Public Art Fund director and chief curator.
