2005年1月9日下午3点，由中国电视报《明星·BIGSTAR》、《娱乐现场》、搜狐娱乐频道发起倡议，中华慈善总会、国家广电总局、光线传媒、搜狐网、中国明星羽毛球队、港澳中心瑞士酒店联合主办的“海啸赈灾同舟共济 明星携手爱心捐赠”的捐赠仪式在北京港澳中心瑞士酒店举行。早早地，演艺界明星就纷纷到场，并分别在捐赠现场的签名处签名。那时，他们既潇洒、妩媚，又认真仔细，脸上都荡漾着充满希望的微笑。他们由衷地祝福着，海啸灾区的人们更多地看到希望而不是失望。在海啸赈灾中，许多明星都袒露了自己的爱心，表现出极大的热情。中华慈善总会关牧村等文艺界理事都多次捐款并参加赈灾义演。这次的“明星携手爱心捐赠”活动中，与中华慈善总会多次合作的文艺界著名人士张艺谋和张伟平、江志强捐献了30万元，与观众、百姓心贴得很近的著名影视演员吴若甫捐献了1万元以后，还把自己的电话留给了现场的中华慈善总会副会长张汉兴，说：“我是中华慈善总会的慈善大使，慈善总会有需要我出力的时候，请随时通知我。”深受人们喜爱的影视界著名人物顾长卫、蒋雯丽夫妇在孩子生病的情况下，还赶到了捐赠现场，每人各捐赠了1万元。同样受到观众喜爱的影视明星彭丹不但捐献了5千元现金，还为海啸灾区购买了许多那里急需的药品和消毒制品。当天，香港艺人刘锡明、童爱玲专程从香港赶来参加现场捐赠仪式，表现出国人四海一心，为东南亚受灾国家重建家园尽心尽力的决心。中国明星羽毛球队全体队员对本次活动非常热心，赵保乐队长上台介绍了每一位大家在屏幕上非常熟悉的队员。他们不但自己积极为海啸受灾国家捐款，还尽力组织募捐，当时，就已经募得超过百万价值的善款和药品。在捐赠仪式上，明星们还通过展示自己的艺术才华，呼吁大家共同向印度洋海啸受灾人民伸出中国人民有力的援手。

　　A Contribution Ceremony entitled Star Love Contributions to Tsunami-Stricken Area ，which was proposed by BIGSTAR ， Entertainment Spot and SOHO Entertainment Channel and sponsored by China Charity Federation (CCF)，National Radio & TV Administration，Light Media ，China Star Tennis Team and Hong Kong，Macao，Swiss Hotel ，was held at Hong Kong，Macao，Swiss Hotel at 3：00 p。m。 Jan。9，2005。

　　Early in the morning，stars in the film and art circle，turned up and signed the autograph at the Donation Spot。 Handsome and pretty，concern and careful，the stars flashed hopeful smile on their face。 They wished heartedly that the people in the tsunami-stricken areas would see more hope than disappointment。

　　During the relief work on the tsunami-stricken areas，many stars were enthusiastic with contributing their love to the tsunami victims。 As a member of a board of directors of CCF，many stars，such as Guan Mucun donated and attended the benefit performances many times。 During the Love Contribution campaign ，Zhang Yimou，Zhang Weiping and Jiang Zhiqiang ，though they cooperated with CCF many times before，contributed RMB 300,000 totally ;Wu Ruofu，who loves the audience best，donated RMB 10,000，and then left his telephone number to Zhang Hanxing，vice president of CCF，saying “As a Charity Missioner，I would like to do whatever you ask me to do at any time and at any place。” Gu Changwei and Jiang Liwen rushed to donate RMB 10,000 respectively despite the illness of their child。 Peng Dan，the popular film and TV star，bought a lot of medicine and disinfectant apart from a donation of RMB 5,000 in cash。 On the very day of the Contribution Ceremony，Liu Ximing and Tong Ailing came from Hong Kong on a special tour，to attend the Contribution Ceremony，expressing their resolution to support the tsunami-stricken countries。 All the members of China Star Tennis Team were keen on the campaign。 They didn’t only make the donations themselves，but also mobilized the masses to make contributions to the tsunami-stricken countries。 The charity money and medicine they raised were worth over one million yuan。 At the Contribution Ceremony，the stars called on every Chinese people to lend our hands to the Indian Ocean Tsunami-Stricken areas。
