The Exhibition presents Mu Jiashan’s artwork called “Qian Hao Cun” technique in dry ink created this year. Mu Jiashan marks the culmination of his individualistic art, as written by Professor Xue Yongnian.

Professor Mu Jiashan, president of the Asian Pacific Art Institute of America, Visiting Professor at 10 universities in China and the US, including Montgomery College. He is a lifetime international artistic advisor for the International Biographical Center at Cambridge, UK, artistic advisor of the American Biography Institute and of Li Keran Art Museum, and a candidate for Changjiang Scholars—a title of high recognition offered by the Chinese Ministry of Education for outstanding academic accomplishments. He was granted “the Chinese Cultural Ambassador” by Education Affairs Office, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the U.S. A in March 2011. Born in Ganyu County, Jiangsu Province, China in 1961, Master Mu was tutored in his early years by Prof. Chen Dayu, a disciple of the grandmaster of Chinese art Qi Baishi, and by Prof. Fan Zeng, a famous figurative painter. Upon graduation from the prestigious Nanjing Academy of Art in 1988, he continued his education in the academy’s Master of Arts program in Chinese painting. Master Mu has been invited to lecture in over 50 internationally renowned universities, including Harvard, Yale, Beijing University, and the School of Fine Art in Tsinghua University. He has been granted the Educator’s Award on five occasions by the U.S.A. federal government. He has garnered over a dozen international art prizes, including the Twentieth Century Achievement Award, Outstanding Artistic Award, and the Grand Award at the Japan International Ink Painting Invitation Exhibition. The Mu Jiashan Art Musume was built in his hometown in Ganyu County in 2010.
