The under-construction Hefei Art Gallery, with its architectural shape resembling a bird nest, is expected to be put into use by next month, said contractor.

Situated on Fangxing Avenue at Lake-rimmed zone in Hefei, capital of Anhui Province, the gallery already finished gardening work, with wheelchair accessible passages already in place.

The gallery, equipped with variety of smart facilities including automatic skylights and intellectual fire-fighting devices, will cooperate with National Art Gallery in the field of artistic works display.

A Chinese ink painting named"Hefei Impression", which is created by 7 artists with Hefei Cultural Association of Artistic Works Creation was completed to mark the opening day, with size of 15 meters long and 2.3 meters high.
