May 19, Hanhai’s first spring auction day knocked down with 1.07 Billion RMB which contains the auction of Modern, Ancient and contemporary calligraphy,painting and Ancient books; the key calligraphy, painting and antiques of Hanhai.

The landscape painting of Huang Binhong became the highlight of Hanhai's first spring auction day.

The highlight of Hanhai’s first day auction is Huang Binhong’s last painting of his drawing career.  It’s selling price reached to 47.725 Million with the starting price of 3 Million. The highest price belongs to Qi Baishi’s landscape painting with 71.3 Million concluded. While another great artist Zhu Da’s work reached to 63.25 Million.

For Hanhai’s night auction, the 65 works all soled out which sum up of 617 Million RMB. A Qianlong dynasty’s culture relic sold out for 37.95 Million. The calligraphy and antiques all sold out with a good price. Zhu Yunming’s cursive script sold out with 36.8 Million and a porcelain of Qianlong dynasty sold out with 26.45 Million.

The whole Hanhai’s first spring auction day is a great success. For May 20, HanHai continues it’s another 8 auctions which include the book on Modern calligraphy & painting, Chinese calligraphy & painting collected by Beijing Handicraft Museum, the great Brush and ink artists of Qingyuntang, Qingyuntang’s Chinese calligraphy & painting, Modern Chinese art, Xu Beihong’s oil painting collected by Sun Peicang Family, the collection of Hong Kong Asia Art Foundation and the oil painting and manuscript collected by Zhao Qingwei.
