May 21, Li Guijun’s solo exhibition opened in Can Art Center, 798 art district, Beijing. This renowned Chinese artist’s exhibition enjoyed a crowd for his painting tries to express the maiden’s beauty, sensitive and the pure soul that every person can read about, what’s more, this exhibition showcased nearly 30 paintings of Li’s dates back from the year of 2004 which is no doubt that this is a concluding on Li’s art both on style and theme, the famous Chinese director Feng Xiaogang also made his way to attend Li’s exhibition opening party.

Artist: Li Guijun

Li Guijun(1964- )　Born in Beijing . He graduated from the middle school of the Central Arts Institute of China in 1984 and finished his undergraduate study in the institute in 1988. He also involved the postgraduate courses in the same institute and got a diploma in 1995.He is teaching in the middle school of the institute. His works were featured on many large scale arts exhibitions both at home and abroad. He also held personal exhibitions in Singapore， Thailand， Belgium， Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Li’s painting mainly focus on young lady, by describing the young lady’s body, movement, gesture and eyes, he tries to express the young lady’s smart, sensitive, energetic, and pure soul. Slowly after you chewed those images of these young ladies, you will find something touched your deep heart that is something about beauty, life or love…

Actually, after we human being owned the technique of photography, the realistic painting seems lost its role in art history, however, the power of realistic painting still exist in our contemporary life, so does Chinese Realistic art. Nowadays, Realistic Painting in China is well received both on the side of public’s attention and the market acceptable. The Realistic Chinese artists such as Ai Xuan, Yang Feiyun were all paid great attention by public. In fact seldom art like Realistic art requires an artist not only should own the technique of painting, but also the traditional culture spirit, especially in contemporary art.

So there is no doubt that Li’s art enjoyed by public. It was reported that at the opening of his exhibition, the 90% of Li’s exhibition works has been sold out just two hours after the exhibition’s opening.
