"Lotus and Mandarin Ducks" by Chang Dai-chien

At 12:00 on May 31, Sotheby’s Hong Kong held an important sale - The Mei Yun Tang Collection of Paintings by Chang Dai-chien. At the beginning, Lotus and Mandarin Ducks as the first masterpiece set a new record of Chang Dai-chien at hammer price170 million HKD, and the final turnover came to 190 million HKD.

It is said that the buyer is the famous collector Lin Baili from Taiwan. What is more, during the whole sale, a collector Mr. Bao from Xinjiang was bidding for this lot, and failed until the hammer knocked down.
