Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Guizhou provincial government, an exhibition of the visual art from Guizhou province is currently on display at National Art Museum of China and 17 until July 19.

Guizhou province, a place with many a nationality, boasts unique and glamorous regional culture, such as folk dancing art and ethnic visual art.

The exhibition comprises three parts, namely, Guizhou art and calligraphy, Guizhou photographic art and Guizhou new folk art. The first part reflects unique comprehension of local elements in the terms of the theme and the form. The second part highlights the real and strong visual effect with digital devices. The new folk art reflects new modes and development of the ancient folk art during the new period, including the batik painting, the embroidery, the silver ornament, the paper cutting, the engraving and the clay sculpture.
