1953年生于大连。现为辽宁省美术家协会会员，大连市美术家协会理事、展览部副部长，大连画院展览部副主任。2004年考入中国画研究院首届人物画高级研修班，跟随导师杜滋龄先生习画。出版有《当代中国画家王有民》专辑。

　　多年来，王有民积极参加中国美协及相关艺术团体举办的各种全国性书画作品展、艺术交流活动及大型慈善捐助活动。曾多次获得各种奖项，并参与和策划了《第四届全国中国画名家邀请巡回展》和《艺术丰碑---当代中国画名家巨幅画作展》。　　

　　Wang Youmin

　　Born in 1953 in Dalian, Wang Youmin is currently a member of the Liaoning Artists Association, Councilor of the Dalian Artists Association, Vice Director of the Exhibition Department and Vice Head of the Exhibition Department of Dalian Painting Academy. In 2004, Wang was enrolled into the first advanced class of figure painting of the Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Painting and studied under the tutelage of the artist Du Ziling. He has also published a self entitled portfolio: Contemporary Chinese Artist—Wang Youmin.

　　In recent years Wang has participated in various national artwork exhibitions held by the China Artists Association and other related organizations, as well as art views exchanging activities and charity activities in large scale. He has repeatedly received awards and in addition planned and participated in the 4th National Well-known Chinese Painting Artists Invitation Touring Exhibition and The Monument of Art—Exhibition of Contemporary Well-known Chinese Painting Artists’ Large Works.
