1962年出生于哈尔滨，中国艺术研究院研究生院重彩画研究生。现为亚洲艺术科学院中国重彩画研究中心主任，中国山水画研究院副院长，中国书画研究院副院长，《中国美术》杂志、《亚洲艺术》杂志主编。

　　武剑飞九十年代开始对重彩画研究，以中国绘画为根基，吸收了西方绘画的色彩等观念，重构了中国“写意重彩山水画”画面，并运用色彩达到了视觉上的冲击力。武剑飞把握住了传统与当代相融合这一独特绘画艺术语言，系统地将写意重彩画这一具有时代感的中国绘画艺术推向画坛。2001年获全国获奖艺术家作品博览会“艺术金奖”，2003年获得泰国“亚洲杰出贡献奖”、2007年被北京国际艺术博览会评为“十大最具影响力艺术家”。在中外举办个人作品展览三十多次，其作品被国内外艺术机构和收藏家大量收藏。　　

　　Wu Jianfei

　　Born in Harbin in 1962, Wu Jianfei is a heavy colored painting master who graduated from the Graduate School of Chinese National Academy of Arts. Wu is at present the Head of Chinese Heavy Colored Painting Research Center of Asian Art Academy of Science, Vice Director of China Academy of Chinese Landscape Painting, Vice Director of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Research Academy, Chief Editor of the Chinese Art magazine and the Arts of Asia magazine.

　　Wu began his research on heavy colored painting in 1990s. He re-composed the composition of traditional “Chinese freehand heavy colored landscape paintings” based on Chinese painting while using western painting skills. His colors have strong visual impacts. Wu integrates traditional and contemporary painting skills, and makes freehand heavy colored landscape paintings which are well known in the painting field. Wu has won many awards over the years, such as “Gold Prize for Art” of the National Artists’ Works Exhibition in 2001, “Asian Outstanding Contribution Prize” in Thailand in 2003, one of the “Ten Most Influential Artists” by Beijing International Art Exhibition in 2007. Wu has held personal exhibitions at home here in China and abroad over 30 times. His works continue to be collected by foreign and domestic institutes and collectors.
