Up coming shows... many ART LABOR supporters have seen and been intrigued by Shanghai born artist WANG QING showing with us since 2007, and now he is back with a big new solo exhibition opening MAY 12, 2012, as yet UNTITLED, but promising to be his most interesting art works yet. With a truly unique perspective, Wanq Qing hails from Shanghai but spent 20 successful years in Tokyo so his work is not informed by the same repetitive experience that most of the mainland artists went through during same time period. Wang Qing was last seen at The Shanghai World Financial Center (MORI Building) in Japanese curator Kenta Torimoto's excellent show. This terrific painting made a big impression on the visitors:
