　　YAMAMOTO GENDAI is devoted to introducing artists who are capable of producing artworks in their distinctively alternative ideas and methodologies, and exploring individual fields of creative activities across exiting genres and generations.Over the years since its foundation in 2003, some of the artists like Motohiko ODANI and Kenji YANOBE have gained international attention, which lead to a number of exhibition opportunities inside and outside the country. As well as actively engaged in bringing these artists in the international attention, the gallery is committed to work with emerging artists of younger generations and to introduce foreign artists to Japan. Currently the gallery representsover 20 artists from a wide range of media from sculpture, painting, installation, and video among others.
