When I saw these particular drawings, first off , only days before principle photography on 'Sweeney Todd' began, I knew what to expect. I knew that they would match Benjamin Barker as I saw him. And they did. Precisely, with his tragic, savage shock of white like a bolt of lightning striking across his melancholy darkness.
