What it takes to endow the art pieces with permanent appeal is the eagerness to make consistent progress and the welcoming attitude for tougher challenges. Facing the extraction of the essence in art, I tend to mix it with the precise overall arrangement in attempts to insert my own profound perception of and affection for art into my creation, in which all people can receive an all-round glance over the magnificence and diversity of the world. Artistic creation holds up a mirror to the ideals of the creator who is seeking to discover the inner beauty of mankind by creating visual satisfaction and enjoyment.

　　The present task laid on us is to find the joint between art, the social development and modern estheticism. I have been trying with a spirit of learning and promoting previous works to find my artistic symbols in my pursuit. The combination of the many artistic elements reveals passion and courage. These elements include ink-splashing, stippling, contour-sketching, texture-displaying skills. Distinctive artistic styles are shown in the process of painting from the perspective of point, line and plane.

　　My creation can be seen as a magic cube of life and art between which the combination gives a new life to the work. It is my principle and practice to take in the favorable elements from other great artists and then mix them together with thorough understanding. According to the traditions of Chinese painting, I believe that many admirable elements can be absorbed in the following works: Guernica, Dream, and Maidservants in the Palace by Picasso; Dream Village by Marc Chagall; Blue Nude by Henri Matisse; Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer by Gustav Klimt; On White by Wassily Kandinsky; The Last Day of the Carnival by Paul Cézanne. They applied line, plane decoration, formation, and color with intense contrast and density of color filtered through the surface. I have tried to integrate changeable techniques to strengthen the unity of Cai’s exceptional Integration artistic symbols instead of directly using color to demonstrate the real world. With an emphasis on the simplicity and plane, I am inclined to transmit and promote the decorative taste and density so as to push the works into the state of harmony in hopes of focusing the tension and expressive force of color itself.
