Fusion and Innovation, a group show of artworks by returned Chinese artists is being held until Sept 20 at Beijing World Art Museum.

The largest event of its kind in Beijing, the exhibition features about 100 works by 33 Chinese artists who once studied or taught abroad.

The show offers viewers a glimpse of the influx of Western art and the evolution of Chinese contemporary art since the early 1980s, organizers say.
