Andrew Russeth of the New York Observer reports that several galleries and art spaces, all which suffered significant damage from Hurricane Sandy, have announced they will reopen this week. Among them are ZieherSmith and Jack Shainman, as well as the Kitchen, which reported half a million dollars in losses. Printed Matter has also reopened.
