NO land has so captured man's imagination for its remoteness and almost mystical aura more than Tibet Long known as the Roof of the World, Tibet. an autonomous region of China,  is Iocated along China's southwestem frontier wiflh India,  Nepal,  and Bhutan.

　　Owing to its altitude above sea level,  Tibet is regarded as the Lhird pole of the earth besides the North Pole and the South Pole. The great snow-covered mountains, blue sky,vast grasslands and eagles have nurtured Tibetan larruping culture.

　　The northem half of Tibet is a rolling plateau dotted with lakes.  Along the southem boundary are found the tallest mountains in the world, the Himalayas, where Mount Everest rises to more than 8, 848m.

　　There are many scenic spots and historical sites in Tibet   The Potala Palace,  a pearl looming over the whole Lhasa city; the Norbulingka Park,which is known as the"park within the park"; the Tashilhunpo Monastery, which sprawls on the slope of Mt Niser,  southwest of Shigatse and is of great value for the study of history; the Xialu Monastery; the Kubum Monastery; and the Samye Monastery.

　　Life is a great adventure and Tibet offers us thechance to Live a life of great adventure.

　　Since Year 1841, the first British Expedition found Mt everest till now.  There are numerous adventurers who step their feet on the this very mountain and deeply attracted by its unbelievable; narural charms.

　　Dong Fang, one of the adventurers as well as an artist of China, has been to Tibet several times Forty-eight pieces of his photographs on Tibet are now  being exhibited  in Shenzhen Fine Art Institute from April 30 to May 8. We selected six of them and would like to share the beauty of Tibet with you.
