The College Art Association has announced recipients of the 2013 Awards for Distinction, which honors artists, authors, conservators, curators, and critics whose “efforts transcend their individual disciplines and contribute to the profession as a whole and to the world at large.” The Distinguished Artist Award for Lifetime Achievement has been bestowed on Ellsworth Kelly, and Elaine Sturtevant received the Artist Award for Distinguished Body of Work. The Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award for Writing on Art went to T. J. Clark. Among other recipients of awards this year are Hal Foster, Claire Bishop, Harmony Hammond, Martha Rosler, Buzz Spector, June Hargrove, Mary K. Coffey, Philipp Kaiser, Miwon Kwon, and Yukio Lippit.
