Song Dong, who just opened a two-gallery show at Pace here in New York, last night staged an ambitious work in Hong Kong pegged to his first exhibition there, at ArtisTree in TaiKoo Place.

The work invited 432 people to write their own memories into 36 calendars that featured, already, the artist’s reminiscences of the past 36 years.

“It is my story, but my story cannot be detached from the society. I hope [this project] can renew the understanding of history,” Mr. Song told the South China Morning Post.
