New York-based street artist Hanksy, who has recently expanded his repertoire of puns beyond his namesake Tom Hanks-Banksy jokes to incorporate Will Ferrell, Aziz Ansari, Chris Hemsworth, and more into his repertoire, is currently out in Los Angeles, where he has created the above mural featuring Nicolas Cage atop the Enforcement Droid Series 209 from the film “Robocop.”

The title of the piece, which, according to Hanksy’s post on Tumblr last night, is located near the intersection of Melrose and North la Brea avenues, is “Cage Against the Machine,” a pun on the actor’s name and that of the punk rock band Rage Against the Machine. The surrounding, sketch-like imagery seems to be a series of references to objects that appear in Cage’s incredibly rich and long filmography — which, however, does not include “Robocop.”
