Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge will visit Grimsby on a solo outing on Tuesday. It will be her third official engagement of the 2013 since she announced her pregnancy. Many of Kate's engagements were cancelled following her severe bout of morning sickness, a condition that hospitalised her for several days before Christmas. She made her first public appearance of 2013 at London's Hope House and attended the unveiling of her first official portrait at the National Portrait Gallery on the 11th January.
Kate Middleton, (It was reported in a local Grimsby newspaper) will visit the National Fishing Heritage Center, tour the Humberside Fire and Rescue Service at Peaks Lane Fire Station, and make an appearance at Havelock Academy. This Academy was established in 2007 to serve the community of the East Marsh and Heneage by broadening horizons for children. Havelock thus seeks to educate children in a spirit of broad enquiry and by harnessing their potential to realise their aspirations. Havelock's focus is on the development of the whole child through the nurturing of inter-cultural awareness especially the arts, an area close to the Duchesses' heart.
Kate Middleton has no other engagement currently confirmed, however it's believed that she will announced at least two more patronages in March. Hopefully at least one will be related to the promotion of art and culture in Britain.
